FOR ALL CONSERVATION DAYS, no previous experience is needed, just come along and have a go after we’ve shown you what to do. The conservation activities are suitable for adults and children of all ages and abilities.
Indoor sessions are more suited to adults/teenagers.

Saturday 4th October 2008 1.30pm-3.30pm Himalayan balsam weeding and meadow raking Help to remove the himalayan balsam from around the seasonal pond click to find out why and rake up the cuttings from a wild flower clearing why do we do this?

Saturday 8th November 2008 1.30pm-3.30pm Willow screen and shrub maintenance Help to tidy up and tie in the willow screen around the bird feeding area following its very robust growth this year! Our bird fruit orchard also needs some maintenance.
Saturday 22nd November 2008 10am-2pm CANCELLED DUE TO POOR WEATHER FORECAST Bird watching walk along the Humber lead by Richard Baines of Wold Ecology Join us on this bird watching walk.
