Our Purpose is to protect the Humber Bridge Country Park (HBCP) environment as a natural piece of countryside where animals and plants can flourish whilst allowing the public access to enjoy the beautiful surroundings.

Biologists, geologists, artists, dog walkers, joggers, bird watchers, picnickers, students, and people generally who simply like to visit the countryside are attracted to its varied landscape.

Towering cliffs, ponds, meadows, glades and different woodlands are brought together by an interesting network of country paths.

Indeed the varied scenery has given rise to some local nicknames to particular areas like “Little Switzerland”  and “Dinosaur Swamps” –  although not many people have seen dinosaurs recently!
